Come and Try Match Racing

Experienced dinghy and yacht sailors are invited to register to come and try one on one match racing at Townsville Sailing Club !

The Club will provide identical Pacer Class dinghies and a short introduction to match racing.  Then out on the water for a few rounds of Americas Cup style boat on boat racing. 

You don’t need a boat and you don’t need a skipper or crew – the Club will pair people up to make the racing as equal as possible. 

Races will last about ten minutes so every one can have lots of races in an afternoon ! 

1.00pm Sign on and short introduction to format.

Racing around 1.30pm or asap after introduction.

$15 per person

AS WE NEED TO PREPARE A DRAW FOR THE RACING YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR INTEREST BY 6PM FRIDAY 24^TH MARCH

Register here - pay at the club on Saturday, bar will be open, spectators and friends welcome!
