Applicants in declared disaster areas
For those eligible families in declared disaster areas due to the North and Far North Queensland Monsoon Trough, there is no need to worry about missing out on Get Started Vouchers. The Queensland Government has ensured that vouchers are still available for you to apply once you are back up on your feet. To register your details, please contact the team on 13QGOV or email getstarted@npsr.qld.gov.au.
How do I apply for a voucher?
To obtain a voucher:
click on the ‘apply for a voucher’ link on the department’s website and enter your details and the eligible child/young person’s details, including a Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card number OR apply using the voucher link supplied by your referral agent. If you are eligible, a voucher with a unique reference number will be generated.
Print the voucher and take it to a registered Club to redeem (prior to the expiry date) to receive up to $150 off the club’s membership/ participation fees.
There are limited vouchers available each round, so be prepared and set up your QGrants now to avoid disappointment.
