Club Racing

Club racing is held on most Sundays from March to November as outlined in our Sailing Calendar. Club racing comprises three series:

• Club Championship Series
• Cleveland Bay Series
• Handicap Series

Sailing Instructions for Club Racing are available for download from TSC Sailing Instructions 2024 season

Typical Schedule: 

• Sign on from 12 pm
• Briefing 12:30 pm, be rigged and geared up, ready to sail by 1 pm 
• 1:30 pm - Racing commences on Cleveland Bay.

Note - from time to time Club Racing will be held on Sunday Mornings due to tidal conditions (check the Sailing Calendar for more details).

Sailor App:

Townsville Sailing Club uses the Sailor App developed by ClubOps for race management. The app supports easy to use functions for sailors to sign on and off, as well as scoring for races and series. Sailors should download the Sailor App right for iPhone or Android. Search for the Townsville Sailing Club page within the app.
